Strategies to help you make it to the weekend

There’s nothing quite that depressing feeling on a late Sunday when you realise your weekend went through a blink and it’s now time to get an early night so you can be up for work in the morning.

And despite Monday’s reputation for being a bad weekday of them all, a recent study actually found that it’s Wednesdays we despise the most. Here are a few tips to help you survive the Wednesday and make it to the Sundays.

Spend the week planning weekend adventures
To beat the dreadful feeling of when you get back from a holiday or back to work blues is to start planning your next break. Have something to work towards and before you know it, it already the weekend! Will you spend the weekend going hiking, riding bikes at your local park or if that too hot why not hire at Chatswood Bowls and play a game of Lawn Bowling?

Get some mates together and make a plan, then spend time sorting out the details. This would allow you to get your mind busy and not think of the long day ahead.

Make that despised mid-week day into a favourite one by turning your lunch break into a game of Lawn Bowls with your friends or coworkers.

Considering you probably don’t usually go out in the middle of the week or this seems the most stressful day of the week, it’s a good way to make it not feel like a Wednesday and allow the stressful office vibe calm down a bit. It’ll give you something to look forward to throughout the day and also give you a kick to help you get through Thursday.

Shout yourself a nice lunch on Wednesday

Break up the week and treat yourself to one bought lunch on the worst day of all to give yourself something to look forward to, instead of that packed lunch meal.
